About time too

Last year was not so good for progress. The weather was so unpredictable and too often as soon as wildrose was unwrapped it rained and she had to be covered over. However a few jobs did get done, and a couple of big ones got started......
* The fuel tank has been scrapped and replaced with 2 slightly smaller ones that will fit more easily with one on each side of the engine. They are in excellent condition, taken from a couple of scrapped DLV vans and perfect for the job.
* Purchased an Aquadrive flexible coupling to join the engine and gearbox to the propshaft...apparently they are the best.

*Managed to give the roof a good going over with the grinder and chipped out a considerable amount of rust. It seems to be in round blobs and when chipped out each one leaves a dimple in the metal.....at one point there was so much of it that the roof looked very much like dancing ledge a favourite place for fossils on the south Jurrasic coast, a favourite place to visit when camping too.
* 'Shouting man' managed to start cutting out the square box sections from the floor of the engine room. These have to go because they are too high for the engine to sit on. Its a really horrible job so many thanks for the input.

Am still not so hot with the picture input on the site....
will get the hang of things....eventually ha ha........
